speakers for Honda Civic

Need suggestion on speakers for Honda Civic Coupe 2006. Speakers need to be shallow for the doors. I have heard Hertz Air, Boston Acoustics Pro, Dynaudio. The Hertz Air are fantastic but very expensive. Aline different series.

Other items going in:

HU: Alpine CDA9897

Amps: possible Alpine PDX series, here again need to mount in trunk on back left

corner. So they need to be small but efficent

Any and all suggestions welcomed.

thanks

They don't need to be real shallow for the front doors. There's plenty of room after you make a baffle.

The rear deck on the other hand, definitely needs to be shallow if you were planning on running coax's back there.

How much money are you willing to spend and what kind of amp to do you want to get?

I was thinking of just running a front stage and not have any speakers in the back.

Budget is open but I want to limit spending to about $1500 for speakers, amp and sub. I am looking for good sounding speakers. i.e. ones that are very detailed. My music is 98% jazz. I also thought about going active and getting speakers from Madisound. The doors will be deadened. As for amps, the Alpine PDX line, due to their small size.

Seas CA18RNX...$130/set

Seas Neo's........$50/set

PDX 4.150.........$430(can prolly find a better deal, though)

PDX 1.600.........$330(same as above)

This leaves $560+/- for a sub, box, wiring and deadening. Easily doable and a helluva nice package.
