all of my vehicle's speakers will occasionally turn on and off or cut completely for prolonged periods of time. i know very little about electrical wiring in cars beyond connecting a cd player. interestingly, my subs continue to function when the speakers cut. i don't really know where to start in getting help for this, so any additional information needed can be supplied.

do you have a factory amp or aftermarket or none? If none check the wire connections at the cd player obviously...if you have time quickly run wires directly to passenger door speaker and go for a drive. could be a hu problem
