never gone active but if i would, would this scenario be possible. Trying to get 4 channels out of a 2 channel amp that does 2x200 @ 4 ohms stereo. so could I use two 8 ohm svc mids for one channel and then on the other channel use two 8 ohm tweeters for both channels being in a 4 ohm load? The woofer and tweeter would be require about 80 watts a piece, so split each channel by about half? would this be safe... hahaha i know im just going to get a no/yes answer so just explain why. It could be done. Does the amp have seperate gain controls for each channel. Keep in mind you'd lose your left to right functions also.

Oh, well you can put one comp set on each channel. If you don't like it you can change it later. It's all preference really and you want know til you try.
