Speaker Wire Options...

What are your guys thoughts on using lamp cord for speaker wire? Im running new wire from both front door/rear deck speakers to my Kenwood KAC-7005PS 5-Channel amp (which is only 40w x 4 rms) thats in my trunk so I was wondering if I could use this 16/2 awg lamp wire (link below) only cause its cheap and don't need anything special. Also, how much watts can 16awg handle?
