speaker level vs. rca (converted)level

First of all, I have a factory GM CD player. I have no intention of replacing it anytime soon. Since the factory HU does not have rca preouts, I have converted speaker wires to rca with (2) PAC 10 to 1 converters. Now that I am converting over to JBL amps, which have speaker level inputs (I have never had an amp with them before), I am considering eliminating the converters and hooking the amps up directly with speaker wires. Since I will not run anything off the HU, I thought I could get a "hotter" signal to the amps this way. As weak as the factory HU is, I think the 10 to 1 reduction is too much. Also, by eliminating the converters, and rca cables, would I lower signal loss? Any help will be appreciated.

If the RCAs originate with speaker level then you will have absolutely no gain in clarity or anything else. If anything by adding stuff you increase the likelyhood of introducing noise to the system.
