Speaker Installation

I was wondering if I bought speakers and got them installed into my car and a month later bought an amp for the speakers would it be alright to install the amp to the speakers or do I have to have an amp and the speakers at the same time?

you can wait for the amp if you are talking about mids and highs

if you are referring to subwoofers as "speakers" then no you need an amp when you get them.

do it in a reverse fashion....buy the amp...get it hooked up, then buy the speakers.

I wasn't sure if it would be a lot harder to install an amp after new speakers are put in.
