Speaker Installation help

I got an of ma audio cw6 components speakers that I installed today in my car. Problem is the speaker wont go in flush on my door because there's an metal bracket that's in a way. It looks like its an reinforce bar that supports the window. Is there any kinda mods i can do to make the speaker go in flush? its about maybe 1-1 1/2 off from the magnet.

 
yea i know i should of measure before i got them..I already have a set of infinity refs on the doors, and they fit like a glove

Yes. Only thing is the leads will be encased in resin. Keep in mind that this is an assumption.

I agree with every one above. OFC is much better. Copper is a much better conductor than aluminum.
