Alright guys needing some help. I'm going to be custom making my door panels and I'm wanting to put a component set and a midbass. I'm needing something that is really good on the high notes because my 4x6s aren't putting out enough high notes for my liking. I would like something that hits the highs and still puts the bass down. I have the bass part but I'm wanting some good crisp sounds.

I have thought about putting in a set of 6.5" comps and an 8" mid bass.

no budget really. I'm wanting something really good and crisp sounding.

Yes I would like to power these with an amp. The 4x6s can be powered by the headunit but i would like the comps and the midbass' to be powered by an amp and if I can get ahold of some or if it would help I would like some horns.

You wouldn't need a tweeter if you got the horns, people with horns and tweeters usually cross them over at about 17-18000hz and up, and is really only for an RTA to pick up the diffrences. You probably wouldn't care either way.

well I think I may go with a comp set from Ology Audio(very nice setups if you ask me) and the 6.5" XXX Midbass. I think it should sound pretty sweet being pushed by a Viper A502

those zapco components will give you everything you need. if you run them, i guarantee you will have all the mid-bass you need. you will be more than happy.

i am wanting a complete system and with the Ology Audio setup he does all the testing before he sends them out. I'm just going with the XXX midbass because I want some more umph in the front.

same with zapco. each product comes with a birth sheet. each product is tested by an actual human.
Mine isn't? //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif Its all assembled by hand.. tested by hand... I keep the xovers within ~1% of eachother typ. -- 2% is my absolute limit... He is also operating at well below his budget getting sound that he would normally have to spend more than his budget for...

What do they show on their birthsheets anyways? Impedance and FR?

i never said it wasnt. jeez, loser. just admit that those zapco components are badass. someone who cant give a little credit to another company with good/exceptional products sounds like they should be a used car salesman at hal's autorama.
