Spanish Help

I didnt know whether to use vosotros or Ustedes (Basically, you all, or they.) Vosotros isn't used anymore, but it fit, and I wasn't really sure.

i hate vosotros. last year my teacher barely taught it for that reason, but this year my teacher wants us to know it.

Yeah. That's what my teacher was saying. But, he said they're the only Spanish speaking country that still use it. For the rest of the country, he said it's nearly archaic. So, he's not teaching it to us.
