Space question.....

If I only have 2 inches from my subs to the taillights, would it be better for the subs to fire towards me into the car (I have my seats down if that matters)? I know its best to fire towards the taillights but if I have no space but 2 inches between the end of the box and the trunk, will that be enough? The box is 26 inches deep, and my trunk is 28 inches deep.

Ok thanks. I figured that would be the best way because it likely depends on the car, but I wasn't sure if there was a certain length you had to have in between the box and trunk lid.

unless you plan on mounting the box to the car with a steel L bracket, i'd point in towards the cabin to avoid forking up your subs.

why is that? i've always owned trucks. why would it **** up the subs?

if your R's are moving half an inch, then all it has to slide is an inch and a half before bad things start happening.

industial strength velcro can help, but bumps and sharp turns can move the box over time unless you mount the box to your chassis some how...

i usually recommend steel L brackets.
