I want to buy these subs but the fact nobody has used them is scary. I'm thinking of buying 2 and grabbing a reference 500 amp. So 250 x 2 rms at 2 ohms.

Any thoughts?

i personally like the whole spider theme on their subs and amps. would love to have it just for looks. however supposedly not many on here have good things to say about present day soundstream products. i for one have no experience and cannot comment...

Whats your budget, space limitations, and what sound are you going for? im sure people can suggest better for the $.

I'm looking to spend about $300 on 1 or 2 subs. It's in a jeep wrangler and looking more for SQ.

huh never heard anything bad about the current soundstream. nothing at all. you wont hear much about these subs on the forum because they are sq subs...
