Not surprised the SS PN1.1000 came up short. Remember, as Ryan mentions in the linked video these are the same as the PPI Ion and PA Razor amps. All are entry-level amps. The PPI I650.1 didn't make rated power in the Sonic Electronics Amp Dyno video either. Around 585 certified if memory serves. So, it stands to reason the bigger brother would be a little short too. Surprisingly, the 4 channel versions all seem to make their rated power.
The biggest selling point for all these amps is their size. They can be easily tucked under a seat or in some cases in a console or behind panels. They aren't competition amps and you shouldn't expect them to be on par with the PPI Phantom's or SS Tarantula Nano's. However, I do agree it would be a added bonus if the mono-blocks did their advertised power.
Someone must be buying them though, their price is going up quickly on Flea-Bay.
Thanks OP for doing these informative videos. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/thumbsup.gif.3287b36ca96645a13a43aff531f37f02.gif
