Inside we have Soundstream Picasso 6x9's in the back and Soundstream Tarantula 4x6's in the front doors. And lastly a Indash Jensen DVD flipscreen. It was cheep and she dident mind. Still to come is a RW Audio Line Driver and a Kinetik Power 2000hc. Thanks for lookin.

w00t I'm running those subs right now.
By the way, those things **** in a sealed box. If you can, port them. It really makes a huge difference.

Never heard them ported. I have been impressed with them sealed. Maybe I should keep them and go ported in the future. I dont know tho, I have dozens of subs, I got to start getting rid of some of this siht!! lol

Ported is a must for the 2000SPL's. They are not designed to work well in sealed enclosures. I was impressed when I first had both of mine in a sealed box. Then I tried a ported box. A single ported driver with half the power got noticeably louder, sounded much better, got way lower, and worked only a fraction as hard.

Man, now you got me thinking. I have had these bad boys for years and never ported them. Unless I get my asking price I am keeping them. Thanks for the heads up.

They're great budget subs. No worse than the Type R, IMO. Make sure you give them some power - I'm giving mine 600 watts a piece and they want much more. They get very loud tuned in the high 30's, low 40's with small to medium airspace. Never tried tuning them low, however. They're not exactly SQ subs, but don't sound terrible by any means.

how can they bottom out in a sealed box?
Didn't say they could. I am refering to a test i seen in the subwoofer section over a year ago. Someone did a test on this woofer and a few others as well. Giving stats on preformence and real world power handling.
