Soundstream HU's?

Hi, i'm doing an install on a buddy's car and he wants a Soundstream Head unit.

Has anybody had experience with is head unit?

It looks nice. Setup: Soundstream BX-20Z bass proccessor, 2 t6 12's with stinger electronics and Soundstream's Powerplant thing. Will this HU be a nice addition to the soundstream setup?

Their in dash multimedia players are absolute garbage. Avoid at all costs. Pioneer has one similar style that actually works well, and I've had good luck with the Jensen in-dash multimedia players. Pay the extra 150$ to get one that works, or if you insist on buying the power accoustic/soundstream buy it from a store that takes returns.

Ive never used it before but i think that sound stream head units are not that good from what i have herd.

im using that same jvc now, its good for the price.

They still got good subs and processors tho. The bass processor is very nice with the tarantula amp and t6's

Soundstream hasn't made a good deck since the 90's...they were very high end back in th' day

Soundstream head units are Power Accoustic with a spider on them. A few other SS products are just power accoustic with a spider on it.

This is the first SS HU I can ever recall seeing.

LCD screen + dvd deck for only $113 yea that's gotta be crap internals, I got my kenwood kdc-x895 for $166 on ebay new it works great the preouts were a lot higher voltage then my pioneer deh-5100ub was.

Alright, Well We're gonna go with this JVC Head unit. But just to make sure. Soundstream still has good subs and amps and bass processors right? i wanna do a similar set up to this in my cousins car because he like soundstreams too.

Their higher end subs and amps are decent.
