hello guys i have a used 6500 i got from a guy on fleabay i spoke to the guy he never told me it was bad , at first it was putting out voltage from the rca jacks it blew out two audiopipe eqs , then i had it repaired by a local amp shop with a socalled good rep, got it back then it pounded good for a short time and eventually lossended some screws on rca panel , stopped playing , went back to shop then has never been the same , then main thing wrong is : when u play a song with bass and turn it up just as its gonna play deep lets say a song with four bass notes 1234 , it may just do the 1 skip the 2 do the 3 skip the four cant fully do reproduce heavy bass almost as if there was not enough power but thats not the case i have a h/o 250 amp alt all 0ga and two kinetik giant 3800's , remember this amp played good the first time it was repaired , so im considering having an authorized jbl factory center near me look at it cuz soundstream has nobody in new york they only do it in cali..........any suggestions? i have 2 fi btls 18" dual 2 ohm ,fully loaded 09 model in a custom 10 cube ported box ,subs face up port faces rear in a 04 nissan armada suv.....custom doorpanels with 4x 10" eminence pro powered by a rockford t600 and 6 celestion 8" powred ny a rf punch 800a2 old school and 6 x lanar opti tweets powered by a rockford oldshcool 200 dsm (15yr old)....... i have been running subs on 2ohm single wire to a mono amp , had a visonik 4000 for a while played hard until it played allday one day at a show then when i was home i noticed a hum at idle only , cuz when i accelerate to 2k or 3k it would go away or not with engine off , gonna send it in for free warranty repair. everyone reccomends powering subs individually......so i may consider a sepreate amp per sub at 1ohm. i was looking at mmats new 3000.1 amp small lightweight and only runs at 13.8v very efficeint 88 percent at full power so maybe one for each sub? i need an amp i can run allday and high power at least 3k or 4k.......was lookin at punch 4001bd but too big.....//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif
