maybe you should try 2 rl-p 15's in a large sealed enclosure haha.fourm member chris shaw has that exact size and model sub.
we built a box for it tuned to 27hz, and honestly, it diddnt sound much diffrent from
the box he had it in first ( sealed ).
build it a good sealed box. and give it around a thousand w.
should be verry satisfying after ajusting your lpf. settings
I would really try 27 or 28hzI am an SE fan, and im thinkin bout going back to the SE. I have used several and always go back to them, lol...
Im try to tune lower and go from there, see how that does....
Maybe 2.5@30hz next up...
my rl-p 12 is in 2 cube @ 28hz and gives low lows you are speaking of. I had a harder time getting them out of my rl-p 15 in 3.2 @ 28 hz....until RE SE 15I have been told 28 by a few people
I would try 27 or 28 hz, other wise you will wonder if 30hz isnt low enough after you built it. 27 or 28 doesnt work..you have your answerYea, I love the SEs. My single 10" on 750watts gets low, I love it.
Like I said above, my 12" TC-9 got lower than this 15"
Very good idea. PVC is cheaper than wood LOL.i say use a few round ports. that way you can play with the tunning till you find something that hits the spot.
