Soundqubed 4 hds vs 2 Hdc

I have a new Durango with a mechman HO alt 3 XS 3400 batteries and a CT sounds 3k monblock. Just fried the could on my HDC318.1 and want to upgrade. Looking to spend close to 450 for the subs. I have a couple options. Wanna stay with soundqubed subs. I can either recone my 18 and buy a second one, or buy 4 HDS215, or maybe but 3-4 hds315s. I wanna go for spl and I wanna eventually get my durango to be able to do hairtricks. Any thoughts on which direction I should go? Thanks you

no on the hds 2's... 4 hds315's would be good if u have room that would be like 16cf box but u would want like 6k min for that.. so what amp u gonna use? u gonna do box subs up port back? if u stick with around 3k u could try 2 hds315 idk about hair tricks with that.. others probably direct u to other subs or keep hdc..

If you know what you're doing and only if you know what you're doing and you're dead set on those subs strictly I would do 2 hdc3 at point five on the team 3K amp should be able to handle that with proper electrical but only if you know what you're doing and understand that running at .5 runs a risk of damaging your amp

How much space do you have? I don't like lower than HDC3 line of SoundQubed myself and would suggest doubling up if you have space. Or have you thought of swapping that out for the 4" coil model? Might be a little bit better hanging with 3K depending how quick you're blowing woofers.

Get a drop in recone from Dave Leib or Corey Dean. Not from soundqubed.. Should work out good power wise with that amp after box rise.

I have plenty of space. Aiming to do something between 10-12 ft for the box. And I don't wanna drop another 400+ for a single sub when I can repair mine and get a second one for that price

the owner of CT sounds is bailing out of car audio man. I would not recommend touching the brand.
