Contrary to popular believe it is not the subs in a vehicle that create the "boom boom". It is in fact little "peizo sirens". Get as many as you can and let them rip. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

both subs in a single 1.96cuft? man thats small.. that shoul be for 1 sub.. not 2..

the rec. is 1.75 cuft.. i got mine in a 2cuft tunned to 35hz.... got some ugly pix floating aroun.. letme chek them 4 u

i like my sub man... satisfied... i dont go 4 db drag or anything... but i can set alarms when driving by

its loud 4 me... well... its louder than 2 12's kicker VR's in sealed hands down...

The whole idea of this post actually came to me after i switched from a pair of 13w7's to 2 pioneer 2000spl's. i noticed the sound with the pioneer's was sticking in the car but the jl's well lets just say with the windows down they were insane. They give you that thump in your chest even when you stand oustide the car. I took out the jl's due to the cold weather. since my whole trunk is being takin up with the jl's fiberglass box i cant place the pioneers there so im stuck with them sitting on the back seat but do you think the issues im having with the pioneer's is a result of their placement, perhaps the box or do they just play loud in the car and not outside?
Put the W7s back in. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/tongue.gif.6130eb82179565f6db8d26d6001dcd24.gif

buy the most expensive equipment you can find... and dont invest in any security. car alarms and such only keep the sound in the car.
oh yeah, park your car in a bad part of town, sound travels better in those areas.
lies! sound travels better in front of my house. park it in front of MY house after u do all that.

pioneer is a long standing good quality for the price -company. i know my 2000spl's give a lot for the price. They do however seem to strain more then expected on my earthquake d3. i could never bring the ohms lower then 4 w/o really stressing the driver's. i do think the box im using is not good enough for them however. its a prefab i had sitting around. never tried boxbuilding before and i did't want to spend a lot at the time but i think i have to reconsider the box in the future to really enjoy them.
