The bank transactions are different in europe, i wouldnt call him a scammer up front. The security in europe is much different, and they use their account numbers more frequently.. I would try discussing alternative methods for payment, and point out that in America it is not as easy with account numbers as in europe, because of all the scams we have.

Edit: You wouldn't believe the number of fake money orders and such that come from europe and internationally that people try to cash here.

I plan to.

I never said anything about giving him my current bank account number. That would be idiotic of me.

At this point, I'll probably end up keeping the sub, unless i get a legit buyer soon.

Well, there is a member on here, just joined the forum (I wont say his username until i get some feedback lol).
0 posts, he says he wants to buy my sub, and he's from holland. I told him I wont ship out of the country, so he asked me to ship to New York, I said thats fine.

He said he wanted to remit money to my bank account, and needs my bank account number, and address and stuff?

For some reason, that doesnt seem right to me. I've never dealt with anyone asking for my bank account number, and i don't feel exactly comfortable giving that info out lol. But, it sounds like he's trying to take my moniez.

What do you guys think?

It was a thought, but I don't really want this guy having any information of mine.

Funny thing is, I PM'ed him telling him that I'm not giving him my bank account number, and he hasnt PM'ed me back saying anything.

Meh, i don't really feel like dealing with this guy.

i would do this . set up a off shore account tell him to wire money their . set up account with fake name and PO BOX but make sure you make him pay what you want if not then its not worth it. i tried dealing with people outside of the usa and did this . it takes more time but i make sure to get 100-175 more for what i was selling it for
