Sound Like A Good Setup?

im about to order 2 2012 Alpine Type R 12D4s with a Hifonics Brutus BRZ1700.1D with true 4 gauge wire in a 3.5 cu ft ported box, 1.75 cu ft per chamber. Would this system hit hard? its all going in a s10 ext cab. Need some opinions on this setup

I'd go bigger on the box like at least 2 cubes a piece. And how big is your alternator? Have you done any electrical upgrades like maybe the Big 3 at least? That Hifonics amp is a power hungry beast... Also I'd run 0 gauge wire. That's kind of a lot of wattage to jump right into.

The box seems a bit small is it a pre-fab box?

You should run 0 gauge wire and you are choosing run of the mill mass marketed subs.

The amp is ok, for around the same price you can get the MB Quart amp which is a better - IMO

I don't think my truck is gonna beable to handle the power of 2 of them so im gonna get 1 type r with a alpine mrx-110 amp in a 1.9 ct ft box. I think this setup is a lil better. I don't know much about hifonic amps anyways

Hifonics are solid budget amps.

I wont have any capacitors or any high alternators so I don't no if I can get enough power to it
