i am buildling my first box. i originally was going to trade my old subs for a custom box on another car audio site but the guy backed down. he did however send me the designs he drew up. i dont want to make a "custom" box thats not good for my subs.

he said to use 3 4" ports that are 6" long.

he said air space and tunning are

"right at 6.5 cuft before ports, bracing, and subs take up the space. it's tuned to 40Hz."

DOES THE AIR SPACE AND TUNING SOUND RIGHT FOR 3 12W6V2'S???

i have no idea what im doing really. im just going to trust his measurements an build the box. LET ME KNOW IF YOU CAN HELP

what hz would you suggest? want on box to hold the 3 subs. his plan are for a one chambered ported box. i want the loudest ported box possible.

well lrt me restate. i dont want to lose the sq, but i want the subs to be lound. bascically i want a box that wont inhibit the amazing power and sq of the w6. what would you tune it to?

from front to back 35.5, 32.25 from the top of my back speaker. 35.58 from bottom of back speaker, 54.25 from widest pat of trunk, 17. 5 from top of seat to bottom,15.5 from bottom of the bottom os seat lip to floor, 15 from bottom of the back of trunk to floor

Why did you buy w6's to be loud? Those are sq drivers, seal those things because they sound amazing. Don't ruin what they do best.
