sound deadner?

I have some foam, the same stuff that is used in sound booths and I was wondering if I can use it in my box as sound deadner? Its the gray soft foam thanks

For thr same reason people put stuffing inside there boxes and thats why im asking cause I donno if it will do good or not. If I can come out ahead or if it is just going to use up airspace which I cant afford

usually people use polyfill to help gain space in there enclosures. if you wanna get more space out of your box then use polyfill. not sound deadener
