What is the best to buy? also i have seen people use the matt and spray is that better or what? i am trying to get everything together to see what all i still need to buy to complete my system... if there isnt a "best" just tell me what you use and how it works... thanks... oh yeah and also a link would be kool thanks

The very best is to use liquid on top of mat, but that might be over kill. See the link in my sig for some mat info.

My personal preference is Raammat;

For price/performance, you absolutely can not beat Raammat. The customer service is phenominal aswell. Rick is an excellent guy to do business with, and is extremely knowledgeable in the field of audio. Raammat is the only deadener I'll use from here on out. I preferred it over the Second Skin Damplifier I used. Dynamat Extreme is good aswell, but much more expensive.

It really depends on what your goals are.

If you are just trying to eliminate some rattles, then simply using mat would work.

If you are trying to fully deaden your car aswell as substantially reduce road noise/etc, then it would be a good idea to use a mat based deadener for mass loading, a liquid based deadener for both mass and barrier loading and then some foam based products for pure barrier loading.

Can't go wrong with Second Skin Audio Damplifier. Ant is great to do business with.

(IMO) Cactus Sounds db Blue is the best, but it is somewhat pricy.
