Sound Deadner

Damplifier Pro for the best overall. If you are going to do the interior, lay down a good layer of mat, then thrown down 4mils of spectrum on the floor. After the spectrum cures, throw on some closed cell 1/4" - 1/2" foam. That should deaden the floor at least, read up on the other how-to's for the other areas. If you are installing in the cold, you may want to have a look at Hushmat... that stuff is awesome for cold installs without a heat gun. As for price point, I hear people swear by Raamat but I've never used the stuff myself. When it comes down to it, you want to make sure you use a butyl based deadener rather than asphalt based... there's a huge difference in the deadening.

I love that article, and after reading it I decided to go with both raammats and deamplifier pro
