Sound Deadner price and how much sq ft

I was wondering how much SQ. FT you would need for the doors up front both of them and a trunk? Some guy was offering me $100.00 for 32 SQ of Dynamat Extreme, wondering if it's a good deal or not. I'm also trying to get some deadners for my friends doors also not trunk.

i'd say roughly 50-60sqft to do average front doors and a deck lid, as for the whole trunk, that will probably take up the better portion if not every ounce of 100sqft alone...

right i got that...im just saying that it will take up 100sqft alone do to the trunk...unless im missing something...

measure it out length x width = area covered

Hmmm so 50-60 SQ FT. will cover my Trunk Lid, my 2 doors, also my friends 2 doors?

it might, but i doubt it...i say on average it takes about 12-14sq ft to do A door, so that x 4 = 48 - 56sq ft alone, plus a deck lid which usually goes 20ish...your best bet is to go with 100sq ft and thats if it all goes on right, little to no waste and you dont double coat certain spots..at least thats my take on it...
