Both. and if you're inclinded enough, make it into a huge enclosure out of MDF.

no real need for that. deaden both panels and then use something like overkill from ssa and you will be fine.

You're just trying to stop it from resonating. Everyone tries to seal their doors with deadener, and that gets pricy.

Oh, if you want to stop it from resonating then just reinforce it with braces, or a few small pieces of sound deadener in the center of each panel.

I thought you were trying to get some amount of midbass from your doors. Sorry.

Both. no question about it. and when you do the inside of the doors its better to cut the sheets into smaller 5x5 pieces so you can work with it easier. and make sure you get a good roller. and believe me if you do one door then keep the other one the same just lean your head to side that is deadened. listen to the difference its amazing!
