sound deadening

well,i ordered some second skin damplifier from anthony. got it in pretty quick.i tore my whole trunk apart and deadened everything!!!!!! what a pain in the ***! lol. but not really. was time consuming. i worked on it in the evenings(5pm)for a couple hours at a time in hundred degree weather sitting in the trunk pouring sweat. i finally got everything in the trunk done and put back together. just thought id post about it bc it feels so great to be done with that step. i put in about 50 sqft damplifier in the trunk. on saturday eveing or sunday morning i will start my doors. should be fun. i might have to buy a lil more bc i went a lil over what i expected on the trunk, but i didnt wanna have to go back and hit what i should have done in the first place. so if anyone has any damplifier laying around, maybe ill buy some off someone for a good deal.will be after saturday, so i can see how much i will need. but TRUNK IS FINISHED! id post some pics if i knew how to lol!//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/cool.gif.3bcaf8f141236c00f8044d07150e34f7.gif

Just did my doors too. It is a pain but in the long run its all good.

took me close to 6+ hours to deaden my left door cuz i had to remove all the peel and seal crap

I did my doors and entire floor of my 4Runner in SS specturm... anthony is great too BTW..... ohh and to post pics first host them at photobucket, then you just copy and past the [pic] tagged link

oops, sorry i lost track of my own thread. the material seems great dont have a system in yet just buying stuff right now and trying to take the proper steps to get everythingin place for my new project. ill get some pics loaded up and post em in next day or 2.

i found it to be a slow going process due to the contour of the trunk. i ended up doing almost everything in the trunk. i did do everything that i could get to just about. it was also very hot sitting in my trunk in 100 degree weather putting in sound deadening. was a fun learning experience. i will also be ordering more second skin. second skin and anthony FTW!

I remeber when i did all my sound deadening.....never again. Ive laid about 400sq feet in my explorer, **** is it a pain in the *** to take everything out
