Sound deadening smells like tar !???

Im 90% done with sound deadening my entire car with Raamat BXT. I was very happy with the service from Rick and the workability of the product. All in all, a thumbs up for my purchasing experience. I would be done, but 2 rolls wasnt quite enough to do it. On to my problem!

My whole car smells like tar on the inside and in the trunk. And i mean STRONG. Is there something i did wrong on the install? Any suggestions or comments on this!

hmm, im on day 3 and still yuck! But maybe it will just take a couple of days or something.

I did my entire car with RAAMmat and no smell at all...

Give it a few days and it will fade.

That's weird, i've done my entire car and had no smell at all. Same product.

It seems to be dissapearing now, hopefully will go away completely. Sure does help make the car quieter!

My raammat smelled for a couple days, nothing compared to when I put in eDead v1. That crap smelled for a couple weeks.

Yeah just give it a few more days and the smell should go away. i just did my trunk last weekend and it took a few days to go away.

rolls are like 117 a piece or something like that- i just did mine and didn't notice any smell
