Very install dependant, as is anything. There isnt much of a price comparison there though, they are pretty different drivers.

besides that, the rec power on a 15" is 1200 rms but people put tons more power in it, any other difference?

well, i dunno about mts (yet), however, i just traded 2 stroker 15s for 2 sx 15s, and the sxs stomp the hell out of the strokers....

same enclosure, did a direct swap out.

MT is much stronger IMO. Daily driving with strokers wouldn't be as good as with the MT's. I have heard you shouldnt put more then ~1200 watts to a stroker for daily. They also have very small surrounds. Strokers IMO are more suited for straight SPL use, as in no music at all. My friend had a 15" Stroker in his Land Cruiser and he would blow the thing like once a month. I pound my MT with 2500+ watts all day with music no problem.

ok head to head 2 18" vs 2 18" whatdo you think? considering it is a good intallation for both, just judgeing on the speaker...? i put 800 watts to my svc 18" stroker fo everyday use and it hits better than anyone out here NY, and everyone around here has atleast 2-4 solo's, memphis stuff like that
