Sound damping the truck

I was thinking about adding some Dynamat to my truck but I'm pretty conscious of the vehicle weight. I've spent nearly a $1000 (bought at vendor cost) on performance upgrades and I don't want that negated by a ton of extra weight.
How much weight does this stuff add to a vehicle applied generiously?
I'm pretty sure its around .5lb/sqft, so if you used 100sqft (which is alot) we're talking 50lb's

well worth it, I mean you're putting subs and a box and amps and shit in there too right..?

btw go with damplifier pro instead of dynamat

Yeah that's not going to mess up my power to weight ratio hardly at all. The amp rack and the enclosure loaded with a single JL13W5-3 really does not add that much weight imo. by the end of the install it doesn't sound like it's going to top over 150 pounds. Much more than that and it's going to make this truck as heavy as my F150 was in it's stock form lol.
