hi folk,

a few weeks ago started slowly changing my car sound system. In january i changed my old colbat for a saturn astra 2008... the car is in perfect condition and as almost no faulty thing that the seller didnt told me...

I took my old speaker system in my cobalt and merged it to my astra... got new tweeter also didnt had in my old setup... i had to take smaller speaker for the rear door because of the size available... until now ive only installed speakers... still have the OEM stereo.... i had few cutting of sound like if they were not enough juice to power the speaker... i dont think theyre a short in the cable... like i said the car is in great shape... i also got adapter to keep everything like it is and easy up my installation....

I was guessing my problem was the the factory HD and it wasent compatible with my speakers... looked my fuse box and changed some fuse in case something was blown... but it was ok

So a few days ago i god everything to put my new HD and replace the factory one... soldered everything to an harness, did some good job from what i know about electronic stuff.... my only real problem was the red wire i connected it to the cigarette plug... its was a possible solution from what i found out on the internet to get that 12v... the other way were too complex... couldn't find a way to bring that cable to the fuse box...

But still everything work... i first i started working on it and setup some setting... the radio worked perfectly... i was happy until the same problem cameback that speaker stuff is so annoying... they keep cutting off and i could find my solution looked alot and still having that issue...

Its not power to my radio... its working after the speaker stop... the music keep playing but no sound... and sometime the sound come back when the car is off for a while and sometime its juste dont work but the radio work lol... iam out of solution maybe this came already and sorry if iam bringing something already done... thx again for any tips

I think i help myself here haha... tought someone could give me hints about my problem.. but i think i found the source or it... after reading a lot about this problem.... i ran some more test today before i bring the car to an audio expert monday... the thing its that its can come costy at 80$/h.... after 2-3 hours working on it i unplugged everything ... i started back everything... put back the radio after looking every cable... started to plug each speaker one by by one i found that some speaker had lossy adapter.... so the contact wasent tight...put it back together... i ran my radio/stereo for about an hour or so... didnt had any short of cut like before so i said maybe i solved the problem... i start driving... 15 min later same thing happen... so my 2 guess are that the adapters need to be tighten or that i might need more juice for my 6 speakers (maybe not)... so tomorow i do the same thing but ill tight everything to its dosent move
