Been doing a build on my Ram 1500 2013 with the Uconnect 8.4 HU.

Changed out all six speakers installed 4 ch amp and mono block for subs.

All was well but yesterday when I tied in the rear speakers to the amp. Worked fine went to the gym cut out few minutes into the trip. When I left the gym sound was on again but cut out a 3 minutes later.

Today tied in fronts. Same problem. The dash speakers are tied into the fronts.

Time is cycling through the song. The amps are both on.

Amps are Hertz HCP1D and HCP4D

Head unit or Amps?

Any ideas? I have posted on ram forums with no response.

how did you make connections? solder and heat shrink? did you disconnect the wires from the stock amp before you tied them to the new amp? more detail in the connections you made please.
