Sound card for laptop

I have a Dell Latitude d600 laptop and my sound card is on the fritz........any suggestions as to what to get??? I mainly use it for playing music....never games...

Also, how difficult are sound cards to replace in a laptop?

You really can't just "replace" the laptop sound card, as most of them are 1 with the motherboard.

However, here are a lot of options for USB or PCMCIA card ones. What is your price range?
