i say just sit on it and do nothing. if in a few months its still paid consider yourself lucky, but most likely it will be caught and fixed.

there is always the close it option but if it goes to get fixed youll be paying on a card you dont have anymore.....

i had that happen w/ my bank once, they accidentally deposited 500.00 extra in my acct. i thought about withdrawing it but i knew better, they fixed it a couple days later.

don't get caught up in trouble with your credit card company.

even if they accidently payed it off, as said before they will not have any trouble taking that payment back once it's noticed.

That's a tough one. If it was me I might just wait it out. Most credit card companies and banks tend to correct their mistakes.

They will fix it. Closing the account will not matter. You signed a contract when you got the credit card. Something I have always hated. If you mess up, you owe them like 35.00 dollars. If they mess up they sometimes give you 5 bucks OR just a "sorry"

capital one double refunded me for a return transaction that i had. they gave a full installment of the return, i went on and started spending then they gave me another return of the same quantity but in installments of 300. a month and a half later they charge me for their mistake for double refunding me and charged me for 1 of the refunds. they thre my account well over my limit and all they said was, sorry..

call them up and get your account straightend.
