Somone paid off my entire CC balance and an additional $22...

Okay, I worked for BoA in the credit card section.

Heres how it works. The person who paid off your card clearly made a mistake online or over the phone, they will notice it and call in. It will transfered over with no problem. So if you close your account, you will then have a closed account with a balance. Because CC companies can charge closed accounts, you can have late fees, overdraft fees, basically anything that the CC company bills can be charged.

They owe me $22 //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/fyi.gif.9f1f679348da7204ce960cfc74bca8e0.gif
oh maybe i just misunderstood

generally when i think negative balance, its always the other way around. my mistake.//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

just call them up, because it is possible that your account has been compromised.

x2
'cause even if it isn't fixed, if you get audited you're fcked.
This is true... but I highly doubt I'm their top priority for someone to audit //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif I'm still a noob at life //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif
