so here i am working on the DD box (not going as well as i planned for some reason (mainly because my right brace wouldn't fit, so i had to shorten it) //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/confused.gif.e820e0216602db4765798ac39d28caa9.gif )

box is starting to look up. i mean, just compare the first pic's circle to the bosch's circle:

look how jagged it is along the bottom

this thing just FEELS like muscle. it took the wood so fast and so strong it is frightening.

A++++

doing what you see in the pictures //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

no i'm not that black lol //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

http://img460.imageshack.us/img460/7259/PICT0577.jpgwhy would you brace the corners? those are the strongest parts of the box... they wont flex..
the only place where i can couple the front to the back, so i figured i'd put it in the corner for simplicity.

and it is that mother focking brace that kills the box for me, that is, without the top on //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/up2something.gif.dd110ecf3ae4b76050d87598f2f8de7c.gif

she is finished. not only did i make this box quickly (business points w00t) but also well (more points w00t)

business points = points that will help convince my dad that pv sound is serious (hence more lenient with the car)

anyway, onto pics of course //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

some tools and bits of the trade

screws: fasners 1 5/8" prime guard screws (don't like the coarse drywall ones, they don't hold as well imo (theres 2 fairly unused boxes in the pic)

PICT0602.jpg

black and decker titanium drill bits (fair, they last awhile (VERY LONG) but aren't fast enough for my taste)

PICT0603.jpg

unless you want to end up drowning in your own fluids, i suggest you use these as well

and the leftovers from all projects

btw, everyone who likes posting alot of pictures should get an imageshack account. the account itself is free, but you should buy image credits. i have 2k of them and they are invaluable for time constraints. you can take like 20 photos and put them in a .zip and upload them within seconds. and, you get photoblog galleries (check my sig) //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

im sorry but with all the tools you have access too, things should be better than they look, with the DA sander you flushed up the edges but you didnt sand the middle to make it look decent "unless your covering with carpet, then you wouldnt even need to worry about making it that flush", also on that pic where it was routered you can see a spot where you didnt apply enough pressure or keep the router level, haha, o well you wont see none of that shit, either way it will look nice with the sub in and it covered with whatever
