wiring options for 8 subs

friend is going to be running 8 10s. svc 4 ohm subs what kind of ohm loads can he get with these subs is there anyway he can get the 8 to .5 or 1 ohm

If you wire them all in parallel it will be .5 ohms.

What kind of 10's? I am about to run (16) 10's. . . .

s some pioneer 10s they are single voice coil though so he cant wire parallel unless he does it right before the amp

What? Parallel is just connecting all the (+) together and all the (-) together.

There are many ways to do that. You can jump from sub to sub, or you could splice from 1 or 2 wires to 8 wires.

If you are going to do a system like this, you better do a little homework and make sure you know what is going on. Otherwise, something is going to end up broken. . . .
