something wrong???

ok, so earlier today on my way home from school i was just messing around with the stock radio(everything is stock actually) and i was turning the fade and balance different directions and what not, but anyway i faded it all to the rear and balanced it to the right and there is hardly anything coming out of the speaker. i looked at the speaker when i got home and everything seemed ok. whats rong with it?? its a 2002 buick regal, just got it 2 weeks ago, and it belonged to some old guy so i know he didnt blow it or do anything wrong to it, any help would be greatly appreciated thanks.

I would say it is fried.

I have no clue if this is true or not in your case but it may be time alignment. Since its the farthest speaker away, the rest have to be altered to sound the same distance away from the focal point, the driver, middle of the car, whatever it may be...but would that affect volume of teh speaker or the signal itself? Maybe its the output in the source. Have you checked that?

nope not yet
