so i borrowed a crunch amp that does supposedly 2000x1. i put it on and didnt mess with any settings other than gain, just real quick, and it put out 5 times the output of the AQ. so im guessing it is the amp. i checked with dmm and its wired correctly to 1ohm btw. power is good. rca's from HU are good as well.

actually, that was a 1000 watt crunch amp, not a 2k like i thought it was.
