something to keep up with 12 l7's

i don't know. who cares anyway? lol

they make killer subs and killer amps. i think thats enough. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

so do you still think i don't know what i'm talking about?

200w rms? those speakers arent even rated for that
the rsd's? i know. they are rated to take 60 watts rms per side with the passive crossovers also there to soak up some of the power.

but like i keep saying music is dynamic. the power i have is there for dynamic headroom.

yes 100 watts rms per tweet and 200 watts rms per mid is a bit much and would kill most speakers in the wrong hands but i have the power there to keep things sounding clean.

SQ guys use way to much power on the fronts, while spl guys use way to much on the subs.

of course but the way you really wanna know what your pushing get a tester and try it youll be amazed on what youre REALLY pushing
what is this "tester" you speak of?

and like i said my clip indicator blinks a tiny bit sometimes which means when the light blinks i am meeting the rail voltage on at least one channel at that time. so on dynamic peaks i am using all the amps power.

i don't think you understand how music works. here is a good read for you. read the entire first post. http://www.diymobileaudio.com/forum/showthread.php?t=36040&highlight=clipping+explained

get a GOOD accurate multi tester and test everything from rca voltage power and rms power
so you're saying stick the DMM on the speaker outputs on the amp while playing music and that is gonna tell me what kinda power i am pushing?

if that is what you are saying then that won't be very accurate no matter how accurate you think your dmm is. it will be accurate at 60 cycles on a pure sine wave, thats it.
