I'm about to buy Boston Pro60's for $175 shipped..

I don't think it includes the crossovers. That shouldn't be a problem if you're running active though.

Also, the bidding has ended already //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/fyi.gif.9f1f679348da7204ce960cfc74bca8e0.gif

ya the bid ended and i had the last bid..but the ending price did not reserve from what the seller atleast wanted which was $200. He message me if I could do $200 shipped because he'll be needing the money soon or he'll just re-list them, and I gave him advice that he'd do better off reselling em since im short of 200. He then asks if I'd do $175 shipped instead, so yeah thats where things are at right now.. jus wondering if I should get em or stick with the pg rsd's which have great midbass.. jus not sure if the boston's compare with them in that area (but would like great SQ also).

im pretty sure those bostons will give you better mids than the PG's

I wasnt to impressed by the tweets on the PG,the mids are decent but nothing great.

To me they sound like Infinity Referances

Crossovers are in the pictures, and there would really be no need to keep them.

Correct, some people do prefer the Pro's to the SPZ's... but i wanted clarity and quality. Dont get me wrong the Pros are quality, but are no way near as clear as the SPZ's.

I think you would agree?

On the other hand the Pro's are considered 'louder' or 'punchier' than the SPZ's. This may be correct.

Before i installed my Z's i was advised that 75rms was not enough for each channel. I then doubled that to 150 watts rms (JL 300/4v2 bridged) and could tell the difference straight away, but wanted more. So i sold the 300/4 and got the 450/4. Now im running 225rms to each channel and they are more than plenty loud haha.. A bit off topic.. sorry.

I'm just letting him know because this is what the seller said, "Just to let everyone know, this is for the set 2 - 6.5 and the Tweeters."

I haven't heard either, but I've talked to people who have. Several have said the the Pro60s are actually a better set than the Zs because the Zs are an outdated design. But it's all in individual taste in the end.

For around the $200 price range you can't go wrong with the BA Pro's. If I was going to spend 300+ I would pick the Hertz HSK's for sure.
