well, i have 200 watts rms on each mid and 100 watts rms on each tweeter.

they don't need that much but they sure do sound nice and have awesome dynamics with that kinda power.

well i am looking at either 120rms per side or 175rms per side not sure which i need to go with kicker zx850.4 vs 650.4

i was looking at the cdt 62 series with the tw25 tweeter handles around 160rms and also the polk momos and the id's the lower budget ones i think only around 175bucks or so

ok so out of the lower budget id's and the polk momos and the cdt 62's and the rsds the rsds would be the best bang for buck and prob sound as good as the others

the sensitvitly on infinitys are very nice and they are very very crisp and loud not tinny or scratchy at all. id look into the kappa series on e ghey they do very good.

just wondering i have never heard alot of subs or bass with our without midbass how inportant is midbass can you honestly even feel or hear it when you have subs right behind you

well if your subs are crazy crazy loud then they will sorta cover up the mid-bass. but if you really care about SQ, clean and loud mid-bass is probably the hardest thing to achieve especially after you add in road noise.

how important mid-bass is depends on what kind of music you listen to as well. if you listen to strictly rap then don't bother worrying about it. but if you listen to rock or metal then you will appreciate good mid-bass.

that they do lack it alot but all i want was highs and vocals and they do just that very very well. what bout the RF mids they seem to be pretty loud

well all i listen to is rap basically and some country and rock but its like 90% is rap so midbass isnt important to me and prob wont do much with 2 12's l7's ported in my truck right behind me in the cab i mean i have 2 12's l7's ported running on a kickeer zx1500 in the back cab of my supercrew truck so i wont hear much midbass i dont think

so wat speakers are good for really nice crisp loud highs

what kind of sound are you looking for then? it doesn't sound like you're being to picky really. anything should be able to get loud if you're just concerned with being loud. just get lots of power.

ok so mainly i am looking for some midbass but not an important issue just looking for really loud highs and vocals to keep up with the subs

will the cdts' rsd's or the momo's or the infinity's do the job or maybe even the kicker ks series

planning on throwing anywhere from 120-175rms per side depending on what set i get
