When I set the gains, I was around 70% of hu volume.Try setting your gains at 75% of the HU volume not 85%

then this is why it is clipping....the hu voltage goes up with volume and you are pushing the amp into clippingWhen I set the gains, I was around 70% of hu volume.
Then don't expect to be able to go over that without clipping lol...When I set the gains, I was around 70% of hu volume.
the hu most likely won't put out 5v when measured....you will be fine setting gains as you did except this time don't turn it up past where you setNow that I know that, I'll reset the gains this evening. One more question, I believe the amp can handle 4 volt pre outs, but the hu is 5 volt. How do I go about setting the sub level, and gains and be safe?

//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/blush.gif.99bc659ee2012b7d826165e26fb5eebe.gifIt was the gain setting. Plays fine now, and not clipping. On a side note, I guess it's time for a bigger amp. Thanks again for all the help.
