Something Is Wrong!

i just got my 2 polk audio momo120 12" , and my 2 bd1000.1 amp (1000watts each)

installed in my car. When i turn it on for a while the 2 sub started to produce a funny smell. the guy at the shop said it's normal because the sub gets warm during an operation. I don't turn the volume all the way up.

do you think that is a bad sign? Is my sub going to break soon?

Many new electronics give off an odor. If it smells like burning then there may be a problem but whatever is causing the odor, I think will burn off. I had a Rockford 15 that gave off an odor. Never gave me a problem though.
