Somebody Help Me Please!!

i was drivin my 2 door tahoe today when all of a sudden it stopped running. I had one of my buddys tow me to the nearest gas station where i tried all afternoon to find what the problem was. It It was raining pretty bad so im thinkin i might have got some water in my air intake or sumthin like that but im really not sure what the problem is. The worst part is right now its sitting at a gas station unprotected. Does anyone have any ideas on what the problem might be?

well no it doesnt start... it sparks like its trying to start but just doesnt

sounds like your plugs or cap or wires could've gotten wet

timing belt/chain maybe...how long ago was it replaced?

air filter could have gotten wet enough to restrict air flow too, did u check that?

Is the fuel pump running? If it goes out the truck is dead. Not uncommon on GM trucks.

get someone to stand back by the gas tank and take off the gas cap, and turn the ignition to on, and listen for the fuel pump to turn on

YOur fuel filter may be plugged too.

You must have never been around a ~98 Tahoe. Sounds like a **** 1500HP fuel pump whining down there. I can hear it over my radio sometimes:crazy:
