I bought this, about a week ago and they are still going strong, running it on about 750watts at 2 ohm, in a sealed about 1.8cu ft, they **** the first 4-6 hours of play but once the spider loosened up they sound very good. people who breaks the spider is because they full tilt on first install, these needs to be broken in before it will play good. best sub for the money

If they break on full tilt before "brake in" they will fail no matter what. The idea of "breaking a sub in" is a myth brought onto this industry by business trying to find loop wholes in warranty service.

Sorry to burst your bubble, but I'm glad you are happy with your purchase though.

I am speaking for experience, you can tell how crappy the sound of these subwoofers when you first played them. I played them on full tilt now after a week and a half of playing and they are fine.

Could be the next Funky Pup here fellas.

I'm telling you fact, and trying to help educated you a bit to help you learn/grow in this industry. Not being trying to be rude, but understanding what your talking about goes a very long way.

Breaking in a sub does not change how well it was built(or how long it will hold up). It will alter T/S specs a bit...but that is it. You can go full tilt on a sub fresh out of the box. This is common among most subs. As the suspension breaks down they sub moves further. The issue is, if they break down to quick, the spider may not last very long and begin to sag.
