Some Testing : SAZ-1500D and Two Z15s

During the 150.0 dB run the 1500D clamped 2640 watts. I am running the amp at 17.9 volts and 1/2 ohm nominal.

My meter measures about 5-6 seconds into the burp and is a True Power meter.

It says "2.55 kw" in the above picture in case you can't tell due to the blurry-ness. This was a 149.9dB run.

So... two Z15s with just a hair over rated power hitting 150.0 dB @ 50 Hz //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif Not bad at all.

I bought it from these guys.

Since the meter does power all at once I don't know actual impedance right off hand - would need another measurement of voltage to calculate, which I have not done for this setup.

This box has had a very low rise with anything I've had in it, though. I've had as low as 0.87 after rise with a different woofer.

Don't know - the Jeep is set up for 16v and the only 12v battery is the starting battery under the hood. If I had to guess I'd probably say it would do 148s with 12v, though.
