some quick install questions .

ok my colossus will be run at two ohms, but right know i dont have a HO alt, so i wanna keep the gain down. the output voltage of my amp should be 80 volts to get the 3200 rms. what if i set the gain to 40 volts? will it only put out 1600 rms?
