SQ Amp for Rainbow SLC 265s

No one has ANY input? I'd like to give these components plenty of power. I was thinking of providing that from a eD nine.4. I'm wondering if there's better or comparable stuff in this price range. Thanks.

There is some nice ARC stuff on ebay right now close to your price range or there was. Saw some nice PPI Art series stuff and Zapco deals on there too. I do not like eD.IMO

I do not like eD.
oh... more of you people. I got an idea, rather than realize that their amps are actualy quite nice.. lets hate em... why? oh the whole bandwaggon thing. You are probably one of the eD haters that doesn't even remember what they did that made people sour about them in the first place (years ago, mind you.) Misleading someone to believe that their amps are not quality products is a horrible way to vent your own personal crap against them..... //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/rolleyes.gif.c1fef805e9d1464d377451cd5bc18bfb.gif

Its my opionion, hence the IMO after eD. He did say good SQ, he is running Rainbow speakers. Ok go get an eD, audiobahn whatever you like and sell your Rainbows because I like them too.

If you like eD then run it I could care less. You ask for an opinion in a thread you are going to get it. You running eD or JL. If your running JL sell it get some eD.

You did not even give him any advice you just came on here bashing in a thread. I will put up ARC, Zapco, Audison, McIntosh, JL just to name a few and they will all make the eD cry for help in the SQ department.

Hell you did not even give him any advice you just came on here bashing in a thread. I will put up ARC, Zapco, Audison, Macintosh, JL just to name a few and they will all make the eD cry for help in the SQ department.
Macintosh makes amps noW? //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/eek.gif.771b7a90cf45cabdc554ff1121c21c4a.gif Wow!

i'm planning on getting SLCs and running the amp in my sig. and eD sucks IMO as well. not because of the bandwagon, but the last one i had broke and they are a-holes about getting it fixed.

Mis-spell was pissed when I wrote it not thinking about spelling. So here is your correction:

McIntosh

Never in my life would I put eD above ANY of the brands you named. I just get slightly annoyed when people bash eD. and on topic, I would LOVE to see *in example* 150 watts RMS from an eD amp to the same set of speakers in the same car, and then 150 watts RMS from a Zapco or Audison or JL amp run to those speakers and have you sit there with your eyes closed and tell me which is which and that one sounds better/cleaner than the other.... I'm not seeing it happen. eD amps put out clean, rated power just the same. And I'm doubting you would hear the difference. And I understand I let my emotions and ability to get annoyed make my post come off as rude and bltchy, and I appologize to both you, and the OP.

But, also, I'm sure everyone can agree that someone saying " I want good clean power from a 2 channel amp for my components" is a hard question to answer... there are in fact far too many that will get the job done just the same.

there.... some options that IMO are quite nice //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

Sorry about my comments to you JLAudioCavalier I will edit the bad words out that where directed at you. I was not trying to bash eD just if you can get a highend for the same price or a higher end is available to you for the same price, why not take the highend when you can get it.

Now if we are talking bang for the buck, thats an entire different answer I would give.

Everyone always has different standards for what they like and can afford.

Well, what I see being requested is 2 channels of 150 clean watts for some nice components in a 200-300$ price range... see my list that I edited in for what I personaly think are plenty of options for the OP //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/cool.gif.3bcaf8f141236c00f8044d07150e34f7.gif
