i got a woofer 400rms i got a amp 500 at 2 ohm and 375 at 4 what should i use and does it sound different from 2 or 4

well what woofer is it? that would help. if you have a SVC woofer then it doesnt really matter does it?

depends on the ohm rating and voice coil amount of the subwoofer as to how you are able to wire it. The "sound" of it won't change so to speak. You will of course be able to run a bit more power if you are wired to 2ohms.. but you first have to have the right kind of speaker to be able to do that.

its a dual 4 ohm so go ahead and wire it to a 2ohm load. What amp are you using? Always better to have more than enough clean power than to try and strain hardly enough.
